denim jacket - Forever 21 // pleated maxi skirt(old) - Ross

I lovelovelove this outfit, it's so comfy and takes me like 2 seconds to get dressed. It's sort of 90's - in my head anyway. I've always loved the fashion/style of the 80's and 90's and especially the 20's, but I find it harder to incorporate (the 20's) into my wardrobe because I guess it's harder to find clothing from that time without thrifting, so I stick with what I can get. Although it is a bit easier now because of the movie 'The Great Gatsby' thank God, now I just need to go shopping..

New York

Some photos of my recent trip to New York - I  can't wait to go back! Most of these are from Times Square as you can probably tell. I went twice during my visit. The first time to see The Great Gatsby which I really liked (never read the book, however) and the second time to see Fast 6, which was all right..I would have enjoyed it more if I saw it while eating chocolate but whatevs. All in all it was a perfect vacation :).

I guess you wouldn't know it by looking at these but it was raining cats and dogs. My camera lens was all foggy so some pictures came out oddly but whatever.

 I've been working since I got back from my trip and whenever I have time off I just want to watch Netflix in bed, le sigh, work is fun but so tiring. I haven't forgotten about blogging, however. I've been taking a bunch of photos, I just need to find time to edit them. Anyway, back to Netflix - talk to you all soon!

Twisted

I've been out of town (NYC) and didn't bring my laptop so I couldn't post a thing, yikes! It actually felt pretty good not to be on the internet for almost 2 weeks. I felt like a boss. I'll post some photos of the trip later.

Anyway! I hope you guys like my hair! I happen to love it. I needed a better protective style for the summer and decided to get Senegalese twists, they're perfection, aah I love 'em so much.
